Andrew, if you want a campus job that works around your research schedule, look into being a departmental assistant for the history department. You'll be around professors, maybe even help with THEIR research, and they totally get when you need time for your own papers. Plus it looks great on resumes. Check your school's student employment site—those jobs go fast!
