Alright, guys, need bit of help here. Been scratching my head over this and hoping someone can fill me in. Anyone got the scoop on what the student-teacher ratio is like at Wiley College? Did my time at Texas A&M (whoop! )—Construction Science major, if you were wondering—and then landed pretty sweet gig at this construction firm in Dallas. Not bragging or anything, just saying that bigger universities like Texas A&M really worked for me.
Thing is, my nephew's considering the college for his degree and he asked me about it—kinda doing the whole 'what should expect' thing. But as much as I'd love to help, I'm stumped when it comes to my program-specific info. It's smaller institution compared to what I'm familiar with, so I’m not sure if that affects the whole learning dynamic. You know what mean? Mean, part of what made my college experience great was the smaller classes where you could interact with your professors, really engage in discussions. It wasn't just some lecture hall packed with hundreds of students where you're just face in the crowd.
So now he's curious if he'll get the same kind of attention there. Anyway, if any of y'all went tthe universitys school or know someone who did, would appreciate hearing about your experiences. Is it super personal? Do professors actually know your name? Or is it more crowded than one might assume?
