Exploring the Impact of Rice University's Residential College System on Student Life Pros and Cons?

I'm an outdoorsy kinda gal, currently wrangling wildlife biology students over at Texas A&M. You'd often find me poking around the Brazos River looking for critters rather than hanging out in some library. But today, let's chat about something different. I've been hearing lot about Rice University and their Residential College System. Sounds interesting, right?. So, I'm curious about how it impacts student life mean, the good stuff and the less shiny bits. As someone who’s always felt that learning extends far beyond classrooms, it seems like this system might offer lot of benefits in terms of personal growth and community building. Students get their own sorta Hogwarts House system and build strong friendships with all kinds of people. Sounds terrific!. But, you know as well as do that everything has its pros and cons. Maybe if you're not big on socializing or prefer more privacy, it could feel overwhelming?. Not sure about that so I'm keen to hear from any current or former my program students out there. How did you find living in your residential college?. Did it shape your college experience for better or worse?. And hey, while we're at it, anybody knows what's up with St.
