Anyone else been navigating the shift to 8-week courses at Collin College? I've just wrapped up my first semester of this new format and man, it’s been roller coaster. Mean on one hand, liked being able to focus on fewer classes at once my brain didn’t feel as cluttered, know? And let's be honest, who doesn't love the sound of finishing courses twice as fast! But sheesh, did anyone else feel like they blinked and suddenly midterms were here?
I’ve got some buddies at different colleges in Texas who are still on the traditional 16-week course format and sometimes do wonder if they're missing out. Or if we are. It's definitely fast-paced change; felt like was trying to keep up with rodeo bull half the time! To be honest, Anyways, what have your experiences been like? Have you found any good strategies for managing these quick-fire classes?. Should we start study group or something, cause’ I’m all in for that!
