Struggling with Texas college student organizations

I've been struggling to find the right Texas college student organizations that align with my passion for community-focused public health initiatives.

Dealing with public health crises and health disparities drives me to seek like-minded peers for policy advocacy. Any fellow Longhorns or Aggies out there who've found success in joining student groups that tackle these issues head-on?

I'm all about being data-driven and preventative, so any advice on where to look or which organizations to explore would be greatly appreciated! 🌟 Let's chat!

I had the same struggle until I found Public Health Student Organization (PHSO) at A&M—they're exactly what you're describing. We do community service, policy discussions, and networking with public health professionals .

Also check out Global Health Outreach if you're into mission-driven work—they do local volunteering AND international trips .

My advice? Search "public health" on your school's involvement site, attend one meeting, and ask about advocacy committees. Most groups are desperate for passionate people. You'll find your people! 💪
