Any advice on balancing Greek life and academics at Southern Methodist University?

I'm new to the Greek life at Southern Methodist University and honestly, I'm kind of struggling. Between fraternity events, socials, study groups and classes, it feels like whirlwind. It's amazing but whew!. Does anyone have tips on juggling all this madness?. Or maybe sweet schedule hack?.

I've found creating a solid schedule is crucial – plan study time around Greek events and vice versa. As a fellow Texan in the criminal justice field, I get how important it is to stay focused on your studies while still being involved in campus life. Have you tried connecting with upperclassmen or professors for tips?

They might have some insider advice on juggling it all. ikr 🤔 i've learned that being observant and managing my time wisely helps me keep up with my coursework while still being active in campus activities. And hey, don't forget to take breaks and relax every now and then – self-care is key! I'm curious, have you taken any interesting CJ courses at SMU that have stood out to you?

I'm always looking for recommendations on classes that dive deep into criminal justice topics. It's cool to see other Texans navigating college life – we've got that Lone Star spirit driving us forward! 🌟
