Alamo, for finance networking in Texas, you NEED to know about the Texas Tech Real Estate & Banking Conference . Last year they had over 300 industry professionals, alumni, and students. Keynote speakers included big names like Jack Fraker from Newmark, and panels covered everything from community banking to real estate capital markets .

The best part? They did a Student Networking Drawing where students earned entries by collecting signatures from industry attendees. They raised over $3,500 and awarded seven $500 prizes! It's designed specifically to boost student confidence and soft skills.

For wellness, Texas State's Adventure Trip Program offers cheap outdoor trips—$35 for day hikes, $250 for a 6-day Big Bend backpacking trip .
