Okay, I'm asking because I'm genuinely torn.
Everyone knows Austin is the promised land. Tacos, music, weirdness, the whole package.

And St. Edward's is right there. On a hill. Looking down at the city like a benevolent parent.
But here's my concern: am I paying $50,000 a year for an education or for the privilege of saying I went to college in Austin?
The campus is gorgeous. The class sizes are tiny. People seem genuinely happy there.
But also… it's Austin. And I'm easily distracted.
Is the academic reputation strong enough to pull me away from the temptation of going to ACL instead of studying for finals?
I need honest answers before I make a very expensive decision.
