Is St. Edward's actually a "real" school or just an expensive way to live in Austin? 🎸

Okay, I'm asking because I'm genuinely torn.

Everyone knows Austin is the promised land. Tacos, music, weirdness, the whole package. 🌮🎶

And St. Edward's is right there. On a hill. Looking down at the city like a benevolent parent.

But here's my concern: am I paying $50,000 a year for an education or for the privilege of saying I went to college in Austin?

The campus is gorgeous. The class sizes are tiny. People seem genuinely happy there.

But also… it's Austin. And I'm easily distracted. 😅

Is the academic reputation strong enough to pull me away from the temptation of going to ACL instead of studying for finals?

I need honest answers before I make a very expensive decision. 💸

Yes, it's a real school. The business and psych programs are legit. Class sizes average 18. My professors know my name, my major, and my dog's name.

But yes, Austin is distracting. You'll need discipline. If you have it, SEU is amazing. If you don't, you'll spend $50k to be mediocre in a cool city. Be honest with yourself.
