Currently diving deep into Microeconomics, Econometrics, and Development Economics - but I ain't gonna lie, the statistical analysis and economic modeling are hitting me hard. 💥

The policy evaluation aspect is my jam though, always been into that! 📊 I've been feeling the pressure lately and realized I need to tap into some mental health resources on campus. 🧠

Any fellow Texas students out there have advice on where to find support for academic stress specifically related to my Econ courses? 🤔 I'm all about crunching numbers and analyzing data, but sometimes it can get overwhelming. 😅

Just looking for some guidance on how to balance my workload and take care of my mental well-being at the same time. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, y'all! 🤠

I did my undergrad at UT Dallas and now I'm in grad school, so I've been through the stats gauntlet.

Mental health resources by school:

UT System (Austin, Dallas, Arlington, etc.):
Download TimelyCare immediately. It's a 24/7 virtual counseling platform included in your student fees . You can schedule appointments or use "TalkNow" for immediate support. They even have health coaching and peer support. Game changer.

Texas A&M: CAPS in the Student Health Services building . They offer individual counseling, group therapy, and workshops specifically for academic stress . Call (979) 845-4427 to schedule.

Texas State: Counseling Center in LBJ Student Center . Free short-term therapy, crisis services, and referrals .

UNT: CAPS at Chestnut Hall . Individual and group counseling, plus workshops on anxiety and time management .

Also, study groups saved me in econometrics. Explaining concepts to others forces you to actually understand them. Find some econ buddies—y'all can stress together.
