I wanted to post an update because a year ago, I was here FREAKING OUT about whether to use a college admission essay writing service. I was so scared of being judged, of "cheating," of having an essay that didn't sound like me.

Well, I'm now a college freshman at my dream school, and I wanted to share my reflections one year later.

First: The essay I submitted was absolutely mine. The service I used connected me with a writing coach who asked incredible questions and helped me structure my thoughts, but I wrote every word. When I read my essay now, I still hear my voice. I still feel pride in my stories.

Second: The skills I learned during that process are helping me RIGHT NOW in college. My first-year writing professor commented on my "strong narrative sense" and "ability to structure arguments." That came directly from working with someone who taught me about essay architecture, not just fixing commas.

Third: Getting into college didn't magically solve all my problems (lol), but it did prove to me that my story matters. And that confidence? Priceless.

To anyone on the fence about getting help: There's a difference between cheating and coaching. Cheating is letting someone else tell your story. Coaching is learning how to tell it better yourself . The right college admission essay writing services fall firmly in the coaching category.

I'm so grateful I got over my fear and invested in myself. If you're stressed and confused and staring at blank pages—you don't have to do this alone. Find help that keeps YOU in the driver's seat.

Would love to hear from others who've been through this! How did it work out for you? 🌟
