I've always been drawn to the analytical side of things, especially when it comes to investigative work. However, I'm facing some challenges in my courses, particularly with evidence handling, lab procedures, and preparing for court testimony. It's a whole different ball game when you go from textbooks to real-life scenarios!
I've been considering joining some student organizations to gain more hands-on experience and network with like-minded individuals. Do any of y'all have recommendations for student groups related to forensic science or criminal justice here in Texas?
Also, I'd love to hear about your experiences balancing academics with extracurricular activities. How do you manage your time effectively? Any tips on staying organized as an investigative student?
