nvm let me tell ya, the struggle with project timelines, budget management, and safety regulations is real! i reckon i'm grateful for the hands-on learning opportunities here in texas, but dang, balancing it all can be tough. With all these responsibilities, my time management skills are getting a run for their money! ⏰

Any tips from my fellow students on how to stay on top of things without losing my mind? I've always been a practical and project-focused kinda Longhorn, so diving into the world of construction was a no-brainer for me. But now that I'm here, I'm realizing that juggling deadlines and regulations ain't no walk in the park! 💸

It's like trying to wrangle a herd of wild horses sometimes. Have any of y'all Texas students faced similar struggles with managing your workload? How do you keep organized and focused on the prize? I'd appreciate any advice or insights ya can throw my way! And hey, if any of y'all wanna grab some brisket tacos at Torchy's Tacos and chat about college life, holler at me!

The thing that saved me: the 15-minute rule. Every morning, I spend 15 minutes just reviewing what's due and what's urgent. That's it. No deep work, just awareness. It keeps the panic at bay because nothing sneaks up on you.

Also, for budgets specifically: overestimate everything. Every cost. Every timeline. Then when things go slightly over (they will), you're still within your original estimate. Makes you look like a genius to professors and future employers.

Torchy's? The one on 45th? I'll be there Saturday.
