One of my biggest struggles right now is the dining situation on campus. Between practice schedules and game travel, I barely have time to scarf down a protein bar between classes. 🍽️🏃‍♂️ Trying to stay academically eligible while keeping up with my sports commitments is like herding cattle during a stampede!

I've been looking into Texas college meal plans, but dang it if they ain't confusing as trying to find your way out of a corn maze blindfolded! 😅 Do any of y’all have recommendations for meal plans that are athlete-friendly and fit for a Kinesiology major like me? I need all the fuel I can get to keep up with my studies and sports. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated more than a cold sweet tea on a scorching day.

Thanks in advance, y'all! 🥤

Your body is a machine and it needs fuel. Most Texas schools have moved toward better athlete nutrition—some even have dedicated sports nutrition staff . TCU has a whole "Performance Athletics Dining" facility and fueling stations with smoothies, protein drinks, and grab-and-go options . Even schools with less funding are getting creative—Texas Southern now does "fuel bags" with trail mix and fruit cups for road trips instead of fast food stops . Ask your coach if something similar exists at your school! 🥗
