Now, let's talk about a different kind of crisis - student loans! 💸 As a proud Texan college student, I know firsthand the struggle of navigating through the maze of loan applications and payments. 🤦‍♀️

It can be overwhelming, especially when you're trying to focus on making a difference in public health. I'm curious to hear about your experiences with student loans in Texas. How did you tackle the financial side of your education journey? Any tips for managing loans while still excelling academically? 🤔

Personally, I've been trying to balance my passion for public health with the financial responsibilities that come with higher education. It's definitely a juggling act! But hey, us Texans are known for our resilience and grit, right? 💪

Oh honey. Buckle up.

I signed my first loan paperwork without reading it. Who reads terms and conditions, right? WRONG. Graduated with $47k in debt and discovered my interest rate was criminal. Refinanced twice, worked three jobs, ate ramen for a year.

The good news? I'm down to $22k now. The bad news? I'm 28 and still paying for mistakes I made at 18.

Learn from me. Read everything. Ask questions. And for the love of God, understand what "capitalized interest" means before you graduate.
