Anyone else nervous about freshman year at University of the Incarnate Word? Man, man, am big ball of nerves thinking about starting my freshman year at the school. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited and all, but it's just the whole "everything's new" that has me tad on edge. So quick intro I'm Sam, an east coast transplant. Got scholarship for playing the violin (who would've guessed, right? Given how music has been my life since elementary school, snagging that music degree from the university is like hitting the lottery. Hoping to be music teacher in the future it's kind of my thing. Now when was scouting around for colleges to apply to, this school caught my eye due to its stellar reputation in arts education. Plus, San Antonio seems like such vibrant city with loads going on all year round! Can already see myself having tacos by River Walk or heading out to Six Flags Fiesta during my weekends. But I've got lots of questions swirling around in this noggin' of mine. For instance, what's the social scene like there?
