I'm struggling with financial aid forms and someone mentioned the Go Center offers "support in filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA), the ApplyTexas application, and other college applications" . You can even "schedule an appointment with the Go Center" for one-on-one help with FAFSA and scholarship applications .
The center also provides "College Readiness and Access Workshops (English/Spanish)" and helps with "Scholarship Searches" and "Career Exploration" . They also do special outreach events like "College Nights or FAFSA Saturdays" .
As a first-gen student, my parents can't help with any of this. Has anyone used these services? Are the mentors knowledgeable?
