Hey guys, what's the real deal with the meal plans at Collin College?

Just laid-back history prof from UNT here, with curiosity tickling my brain about Collin College. I've been overhearing some chatter amongst my students about the meal plans over there at the program and it's got me wondering, "What's the real deal?. Mean back in my own college days (which admittedly are becoming bit of distant memory), the dining hall was half the fun. We'd have these epic taco Tuesdays that would seriously rival any Tex-Mex joint in town.

Yeah, the pizza might've tasted like cardboard on occasion, but let's be honest, we were there for the camaraderie more than the cuisine. Nowadays though, it seems like colleges are stepping up their game when it comes to food. It's not just mystery meat and Jell-O anymore (thank goodness).

They've got salad bars, smoothie stations, even sushi! Say what you want about millennials and Gen but these youngsters sure do eat better than we did! But backthis schoole school, can't help but feel curious. What's on offer? Are the meals worth writing home about or should students stick to Ramen noodles in their dorm rooms? And what about options for vegetarians or folks with dietary restrictions? Basically, More importantly given this is Texas how's the BBQ situation looking?

Know it may seem frivolous, but good BBQ 🥩🍖🥓 can make or break college experience if you ask me.
