I've been hearing a lot about student organizations and how they can help us future dental professionals out. 👩‍⚕️💼 Any fellow Texas students have good advice on which groups to join at our college to boost skills in patient-centered care or ace those licensing exams? 🤔 Would love to hear personal experiences or recommendations!

Also, any tips on balancing these demanding courses with extracurriculars? It's tough keeping my health-focused, detail-oriented self in check! 🌟 Appreciate any insights or advice from my fellow Texans - letys help each other out on this academic journey! 🤓👍 #TexasCollegeLife #DentalHygieneStruggles.

If you're near Houston, UTHealth School of Dentistry has like 30+ student organizations including the Student Chapter of the American Dental Hygienists' Association and Sigma Phi Alpha honor society . Even if you're not a dental student yet, many of these groups have events open to undergrads. Also check out the Texas A&M PreDental Society—they've been around since 1983 so they definitely know what they're doing!
