The center also "collaborates with community partnerships to establish a student and parent outreach center" and provides "tools and information to help families decide about college" . For first-gen students like me, having my parents understand the process is huge — they want to help but don't know how.
The G-Force staff also "encourages and helps students with their interactions with ADVi to guide them through the college process" . I'm not sure what ADVi is — maybe an advising platform?
The overall goal is to "create a college-going culture" and "promote college awareness and accessibility to all students" . That's exactly what I need.
